Aim of Programme

The Postgraduate Certificate in Software Design is an introductory postgraduate level programme
with 30 ECTS. It is intended for IT professionals who wish to gain specific skills in Software Design
and Development. This programme has 6 contact hours per week and at least 6 hours of self-directed
learning are necessary per week.

This programme aims to equip graduates with detailed knowledge, and specialist architectural and
technical skills required to design and implement software solutions and services. The programme was
developed to meet the growing demand for software developers with a deep understanding of
concept and application.

AIT Induction Sessions will take place on Friday 18th September 2020 6.00pm to 9.00pm, Saturday 19th September 2020, 9.30am to 12.30pm and 2.00pm to 5.00pm.

All registered students must attend one session, and you will be advised of your session when your application is processed. This is a face to face induction, where registered students will meet their lecturers and become acquainted with AIT operating systems, such as our online delivery platform, Moodle, Rules and Regulations etc.

All current regulations and public health guidelines in relation to social distancing will be in place at these sessions.

If approved for funding the programme will be free/part-funded to applicants that meet Springboard+ Funding Eligibility Criteria.
