Aim of Programme

The global blockchain market size is expected to grow from USD 1.2 billion in 2018 to USD
23.3 billion by 2023. Despite the hype, blockchain is still an immature technology. Unstructured
experimentation of blockchain solutions without due consideration of security implications has the
potential to cause financial and reputational damage to early adopters.

The Programme will deliver these core competencies through four modules covering the above areas
and which are described in detail below. The course places a very strong emphasis on practical
hands-on training and practice in order to give the students a very focused and realistic experience of
attack and defence approaches, mechanisms, technologies, and tools. Equal time is dedicated to both
theoretical and practical aspects of the course.
