Aim of Programme

This programme provides the learner with key skills needed to progress a career in the IT and Network Support area. More complex IT issues are typically escalated to Level 2 IT and Network technicians. This can include the configuring and managing of larger enterprise networks, integrating wireless networks and connecting of non traditional system to a network.

This programme equips graduates with the necessary technical and soft skills to perform these key duties. This programme incorporates the second half of the internationally recognised Cisco CCNA (Version 7) certification. This includes topics on securing the LAN infrastructure, redundancy, routing protocols such as OSPF, configuring Access Control Lists and provides an introduction to network programmability and automation.
