Aim of Programme


This programme provides an introduction to the areas of Industrial Pharma, BioPharma and Medtech. The module provides an opportunity to understand the operational environment surrounding the BioPharma and MedTech Sectors.  The programme examines the role of Guidelines, Regulations, Standards and Laws as applicable to the sectors. It outlines the pre-market activities and market place risks in the sectors and examines the requirements for Health & Safety and Quality Assurance.

Mature applicants (i.e over 23 years)

or

Leaving Certificate Grade O6 at ordinary level in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate. Two of these subjects must be Mathematics and a language (English or Irish)

or

QQI Level 5 Full award with a minimum of eight modules. or Recognition of Prior Learning (APL/APEL)

AIT Student Induction will take place ONLINE on Saturday September 11th 9.30 am – 1 pm.

Registered students will meet their lecturers and become acquainted with AIT operating systems, such as our online delivery platform, Moodle, Rules and Regulations etc.

This is a Government of Ireland, July Stimulus Modular Provision Funded Programme.

This programme will be fully funded for eligible applicants.

Note – eligibility criteria for this funding is the same as Springboard+ funding eligibility.
