Aim of Programme


The aim of the programme is to enable participants to understand the differences between management and leadership including styles and characteristics of successful managers/leaders. This programme will enable the student to acquire an understanding of the importance of effective human resource management to effective supervisory management in an organisation.

 It will also identify the interpersonal skills which contribute to the supervisory manager’s efficiency and effectiveness in the work environment. It will facilitate the student to apply theory and knowledge to real situations.

Mature applicants (i.e over 23 years)

or

Leaving Certificate Grade O6 at ordinary level in five subjects in the Leaving Certificate. Two of these subjects must be Mathematics and a language (English or Irish)

or

QQI Level 5 Full award with a minimum of eight modules. or Recognition of Prior Learning (APL/APEL)

AIT Student Induction will take place ONLINE on Saturday September 11th 9.30 am – 1 pm.

Registered students will meet their lecturers and become acquainted with AIT operating systems, such as our online delivery platform, Moodle, Rules and Regulations etc.

This programme will be fully funded for eligible applicants.
